Outstanding Solutions is seeking a qualified and experienced Private Chef to work at a private residence in Arusha. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing healthy, high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations and maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy meals featuring Tanzanian and international cuisines.
• Prepare meals according to the family’s dietary requirements, preferences and allergies, including age-appropriate meals for a young child.
• Bake fresh bread, pastries and other baked goods as required.
• Manage grocery shopping, kitchen inventory and food budgets while minimizing waste.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safe food storage and kitchen cleanliness.

• Respect household privacy and confidentiality.
• Ensure timely meal preparation and proper food storage.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of professional cooking experience, preferably in established hotels.
• Formal training or basic education in cookery and pastry.
• Proven cooking skills in Tanzanian, Mediterranean, Indian and other international cuisines.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene, food safety and child-appropriate meal preparation.
• Excellent menu planning, budgeting and kitchen inventory management skills.
