HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Supervisor who will lead the procurement function, develop purchasing plans aligned with company objectives, and ensure efficient and compliant procurement operations while driving value and cost-effectiveness.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement procurement plans in line with the company’s strategy, policies, and operational needs.
Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure value for money in all purchases.
Supervise procurement staff, monitor stock levels, and ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.
Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure all vendors comply with required quality and delivery standards.
Enforce procurement policies, procedures, and internal control measures across the department.
Support budgeting processes and lead cost-control initiatives across departments.
Lead, coach, and mentor the procurement team to promote high performance and continuous improvement.
Monitor market trends and provide insights for strategic sourcing and supplier selection.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP-T) is an added advantage.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
Solid understanding of procurement regulations, inventory management, and internal control mechanisms.
High level of integrity, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement/ERP systems.
