About Help to Help Foundation
Help to Help is a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering youth through education. Our focus is to increase impact per each SEK/TZS by increasing awareness of our programs and enhancing young people’s employability.
The Role
This role focuses on both execution and expansion, requiring a strategic and organized leader to manage the Help to Help Academy while driving funding growth through high-quality grant proposals. Responsibilities include overseeing training projects and serving as the lead Proposal Writer.
Key Responsibilities
Help to Help Academy Management (60%):
Project Management & Program Strategic Implementation: Lead strategic implementation aligning with beneficiary needs and market consistency.
Budget Management: Manage program budget ensuring efficient resource allocation aligned with organizational priorities.
Training Leadership: Supervise participants' selection, supervision, and coordination; ensure effective training materials.
Corporate Bridging: Identify potential corporate partners and coordinate student visits.
M&E: Monitor participant records to ensure impact targets are met.
Research & Strategic Development (10%):
Market Trends: Conduct research on youth employment and skills demand.
Program Innovation: Develop concepts for program improvements based on data insights.
Internal Knowledge: Provide expertise in the education-to-employment sector.
Proposal Writing & Grant Development (30%):
Opportunity Identification: Identify grant opportunities from foundations and governments.
Concept Development: Lead strategy meetings for upcoming Request for Proposal (RFPs).
Technical Writing: Write compelling proposals assembling technical data.
Workflow Management: Manage information gathering to meet submission deadlines.
Quality & Process Improvement: Maintain document efficiency and consistency.
Risk Assessment: Communicate potential risks of new grant proposals.
The Lifecycle of Program Development & Funding
The successful candidate will manage the full cycle from initial research to securing sustainable funding for programs.
Who You Are
Experience: At least 4 years in program management within medium to large organizations, delivering strong results.
An Operational Leader: Use data for informed decisions and improve outcomes. Facilitate managing students and complex logistics.
Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Enjoy data analysis for M&E reports or project budgets.
An Expert Writer: Proven track record in writing successful grant proposals.
Strategically Minded: Look for process improvements and increased impact.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in project management, sociology, human resources management, or related fields in social sciences.
4-5 years experience in Program Management in the NGO sector.
Strong project management skills (budgeting, reporting, and team supervision).
Possess facilitation skills for medium to big groups.
Grant Writing/Proposal Development is an added advantage.
Excellent command of English for international audiences.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage youth and corporate relationships.
