Receptionist Position at Elephanto Hotel

Location: Zanzibar

Position Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Hotel supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.

  • Verify reservations, payments, and customer details.

  • Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly.

  • Provide information on hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction at all times.

  • Handle room reservations and updates accurately.

  • Maintain up-to-date booking records.

  • Act as a communication link between guests and hotel departments.

  • Process payments, issue invoices, and maintain accurate billing records.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field. A Bachelor's degree is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in front office or customer service.

  • Experience in a hotel environment is an added advantage.

  • Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software.
