Background
Overall Responsibilities:
Specific activities include:
- Work with IVD-LTWG and the Nexleaf team to develop training curriculum for Cold Trace System end users
- Provide on-site support during initial and ongoing training of end users
- Lead on the troubleshooting of devices during project deployment
- Track ColdTrace devices, and resultant issues with devices in health facilities
- Provide an initial point of contact for troubleshooting on encountered issues by device users and communicating this to the Project manager.
- Traveling to the field sites for monitoring and evaluation support
- Collecting information as requested by Project Manager and Nexleaf team members
- Represent RTM project in the IVD LTWG meetings when called upon to do so
- Work with Nexleaf to customize the RTM dashboard to suite the need of IVD
- Prepare regular reports on project deployment status
- Carry out other duties as may be assigned by the Project Manager
- Design and initiate a regular review of the RTM data for on-going monitoring
- Support IVD, DIVO’s and RIVO’s to address escalated alarms generated by the ColdTrace devices.
- Work with Nexleaf to develop use cases for dashboard integration with VIMS
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 5+ year relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master degree in Public Health will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with the Tanzanian immunization program
- Experience with the immunization cold chain system in Tanzania
- Be a technology power user, excited to learn even more
- Be familiar/conversant with cell phone networks in TZ (Telecoms)
- An effective communicator, proficiency in English (essential) and Swahili
- Able to build clear diagnostic reports regarding issues encountered by users of the RTM devices and the dashboard
- Strong troubleshooting skills that can be leveraged for RTM devices.
- Able to work in diverse cultural settings.
- Be able to travel within the country for up to 60% of his/her time.
- Be a proactive problem solver
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with immunization program particularly of RTM related project will be an added advantage.
- A team player accustomed to building team capacity and developing communities of learning among the National, Regional and District counterparts.
