Sales Account Manager – Government Sector
Responsibilities
- Selling IT products and solutions
- Manage projects and clients
- Manage proposals and tenders
- Lead point of contact for all customer account matters
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Develop trusted advisor relationships
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Business forecasting
- Reporting on accounting activities and strategy
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations
- Training, development, and certification
Deliverables
- Achieve 100% of targets
- Maintain healthy revenue streams from key accounts
- Lead generation and follow through
- Healthy contribution towards assisting the company achieve sales growth.
Certification
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or related fields
- Must have recent experience in selling IT or related solutions
- Proven experience in sales account management
- Strong customer service & sales support, communication & interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking and negotiation skills
