Sales Account Manager – Government Sector

Responsibilities

  • Selling IT products and solutions
  • Manage projects and clients
  • Manage proposals and tenders
  • Lead point of contact for all customer account matters
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Business forecasting
  • Reporting on accounting activities and strategy
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations
  • Training, development, and certification

Deliverables

  • Achieve 100% of targets
  • Maintain healthy revenue streams from key accounts
  • Lead generation and follow through
  • Healthy contribution towards assisting the company achieve sales growth.

Certification

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or related fields
  • Must have recent experience in selling IT or related solutions
  • Proven experience in sales account management
  • Strong customer service & sales support, communication & interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking and negotiation skills
