Site Foreman
HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are seeking a Site Foreman with experience in overseeing daily activities at construction sites for multi-unit and vertical expansion projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising workers, ensuring work is completed safely and according to plans, and supporting the site supervisor and project team to ensure timely delivery of construction goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide on-site workers in daily construction activities, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, ensuring accurate execution of works on-site.
- Monitor attendance, performance, and conduct of laborers and subcontractors.
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are properly used and maintained on-site.
- Report progress, issues, and needs to the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
- Enforce site safety rules and ensure all workers comply with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct site-level inspections to identify and correct workmanship or safety issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials to avoid delays.
- Assist in planning and organizing the daily work schedule and manpower allocation.
- Keep daily site records, including labor usage, material deliveries, and site activities.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Certificate in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, particularly in real estate or vertical building projects.
- Sound knowledge of construction processes, site safety, and labor supervision.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with site reporting tools.
