Laiki Technology Limited, operating under the trade name Afritrack, is a rapidly growing Internet of Things (IoT) provider specializing in tracking everything from vehicles to a wider range of assets. We are seeking a technically inclined, passionate, creative, and innovative individual to join our team as a Systems Integrator.

Overall Responsibility
The Systems Integrator will play a crucial role in the research, development, and integration of new products and services. This role also involves expanding the functionality and feature set of existing services to add further value to our offerings.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Actively engage with the Head of Innovation to identify and prioritize Roadmap products for the year.
- Vigorously execute integration projects based on the agreed-upon Annual Product Roadmap priorities.
- Manage the full integration cycle, from conception, design, testing, and installation of 'ready-for-market' proof-of-concept solutions in real-world scenarios, ensuring they are replicable without further involvement. This includes creating appropriate documentation, step-by-step instruction manuals for installers and customers, and providing training.
- Oversee and improve the front-end portal, collaborating closely with the software development company for maintenance, bug fixing, and integration of new features and products. ajira
- Initiate and manage long-standing work relationships with 3rd party Technical Support teams.
- Troubleshoot system-wide problems across the entire delivery chain, acting as the coordination point for prompt resolution and ensuring business continuity measures are in place.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and oversee technical task execution for Assistant Systems Integrators (as applicable).
- Discuss and engage with management on strategic future directions for the company.
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills
- University Degree in a technical related field or a similar diploma/certificate.
Relevant Experience
- Preferably at least 4 years of experience in a related field.
Other Requirements (Behavioral etc.)
- Knowledge of electronics components and circuits.
- Proficiency in simple programming of devices such as programmable logic controllers.
- Ability to integrate systems, for example, connecting sensors to controllers or tracking devices, and ultimately to an online tracking portal.
- Creativity and resourcefulness for problem-solving and R&D.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility and personal integrity.
