Technical Officer

Position: Technical Officer - Dar es salaam
Reporting: Sales Supervisor
 

Key responsibilities:

1. Explore new areas and suggest new market places to introduce and establish Jubaili products.
2. Drive and consolidate quality agrochemical demonstrations results data conducted by the sales agronomist.
3. Package our products demonstration results into powerful agronomic marketing tools to support sales.
4. Develop products treatments and application protocol.
5. Conduct commercial and scalable scientific agricultural chemical trials with local and regional agricultural research organization to establish new information on the effectiveness of our products.
6. Conduct farmers training and Product Launching sessions.
7. Prepare and follow up on seed's demonstration plots.
8. Achieve targets in distribution of new products to all existing customers
    

Selection Criteria:

Essential

• Diploma / Degree in Agriculture engineering, Agronomy, horticulture.
• Proven Experience in Technical advisory on the proper use of Agrochemicals.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strategic Business relationships.
• Well-developed problem‐solving, information analysis and evaluation skills.
• Demonstrated cultural respect and understanding of issues facing culturally diverse communities.
• Capacity to work flexible hours, including weekend work and Public Holidays when required.
  
  

Experience:
3-5 Years of working experience as Technical officer in Agro chemical company.
