HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Transport Officer responsible for overseeing transportation operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and safety in all logistics activities.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage daily transport operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor and manage fleet performance, including fuel usage, maintenance schedules, and route optimization.
• Ensure compliance with transport policies, traffic regulations, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, driver assignments, and transportation expenses.
• Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve transport-related issues.
• Assist in developing strategies for cost reduction and improved efficiency in transport operations.

• Prepare and submit reports on transport activities, performance, and compliance.
• Provide guidance and support to drivers and transport staff on company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Transport Management from NIT or any other recognized institute.
• Proven experience in transport/logistics operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations, fleet management, and logistics systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management software.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
