ZONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE
INDUSTRY: OIL AND GAS
LOCATION: DAR ES SALAAM, ARUSHA AND MWANZA
HR World Limited, on behalf of our client, is seeking an ambitious and highly-skilled candidate responsible for promoting and selling fuel products to commercial clients, including businesses in the transportation, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new commercial customers for fuel products (diesel, petrol, etc.).
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their fuel requirements and providing tailored solutions.
- Ensure prompt responses to customer inquiries and resolution of service/product issues.
- Develop a sales plan (in collaboration with the Commercial Sales Manager) focusing on business growth and market penetration.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on competitor activities, customer preferences, and industry trends.
- Ensure all fuel sales activities comply with relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, technical support, customer service) to ensure timely delivery and high-quality service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Sales representative (preferably in commercial fuels or related industries).
- Understanding of commercial fuels, fuel pricing dynamics, and storage/handling procedures (advantageous).
- Ability to effectively manage multiple clients and projects across a large geographic area.
