Purpose of the Position
Supporting the finance department and the management by completing the regular accounting tasks of the company.
Job Description
Prepare, examine payroll, financial statements and other financial reports for accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting standards.
Register new employees with NSSF benefits. And Prepare Monthly TRA, NSSF, WCF and other statutory returns
Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounts and finance documentation and keep track of creditors and debtors
Calculate provisional tax and revise as necessary, maintain finance files and assist audits while ensuring accurate and timely recording of monthly, quarterly and yearly reports.
Carry out financial analysis of the company operations to inform decisions.
Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets
Preparing periodic management reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs and variances.
Update accounts receivable and payable lists and conduct debtors and creditors analysis.
Compute all relevant taxes, prepare and file tax returns to ensure compliance with all statutory authorities.
Compute, make payment and submit all relevant statutory return
Qualifications
Tanzanian citizenship
Bachelor degree from a recognized institution in accounts, finance or another related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience in accounts and finance.
High knowledge of IT will be an added advantage
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
Experience with construction industry
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills that effect positive change
