Key Responsibilities
Manage all day-to-day accounting operations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
Handle revenue reconciliation from Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and partners.
Monitor receivables, payables, and cash flow.
Prepare and process payments, invoices, and receipts.
Perform bank and revenue reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with Tanzanian tax laws and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and submit tax returns (VAT, PAYE, corporate tax, withholding tax, etc.).
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Support management with financial insights and reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA (T), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting (experience in telecom, digital services, or Mobile VAS industry is an added advantage)
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations
Experience in revenue reconciliation and high-volume transaction environments
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and attention to detail
