Accountant - Fresh Graduate Opportunity

We are seeking a diligent and organized Accountant to join our team at ACC PAPER GROUP LIMITED. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate looking to gain practical experience in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post incoming and outgoing factory invoices accurately in the accounting system.
Verify invoices against purchase orders and physical delivery notes before processing.
Maintain and file all payment vouchers, receipts, and financial documents systematically.
Record daily factory financial transactions, operational expenses, and production-related costs.
Manage petty cash, ensuring all cash disbursements are logged and reconciled daily and documented.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable (supplier balances) and accounts receivable.
Assist with regular physical inventory and stock counts.
Reconcile physical stock data with the records in Ms Excel.
Compile summaries of daily or weekly expenses for management review.
Perform general administrative and accounting support tasks as assigned by the supervisor.


Qualifications
Education

Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized Tanzanian university.


Professional Progress

Active candidate of NBAA board exams at stage II and above will have an added advantage.


Experience

Fresh graduate seeking practical experience.
Prior internship experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not mandatory.


Technical Skills

Knowledge of Ms Excel.
Ability to easily adopt AI tools (e.g., Claude).

Highly organized.
Detail-oriented.
Trustworthy.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
