HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant who will play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining statutory compliance. This role is ideal for a CPA candidate looking to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization.
Responsibilities:
Oversee bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Manage and monitor all cash transactions with precise documentation.
Ensure effective control of online bank account access for real-time fund oversight.
Monitor and report on daily fund positions.
Verify transport invoices daily and ensure timely approvals.
Manage banking facilities including loan requests, loan closures, tracking repayments, and IPF reconciliation.
Reconcile staff loans and advances.
Conduct random stock verifications to ensure accuracy.
Reconcile creditors to guarantee timely payments.
Prepare and present MIS-related monthly management reports.
Conduct stock taking and reconciliation.
Review and submit statutory returns including PAYE, SDL, WHT, VAT, NSSF, and WCF.
Manage advance tax (quarterly) and city service levy (quarterly) filings.
Assist in the finalization of financial statements.
Support statutory and TRA audits.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA qualification is mandatory.
Minimum 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
