Assistant Contract Manager
Location:
Kilombero and Kilosa Districts, Morogoro Region, Tanzania
Job Purpose:
To implement, manage, and optimize all Unitrans operations on the sugar estate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the cane haulage operations including mechanical harvesting.
Manage ancillary operations like road maintenance, crop spraying, and fertilizer application.
Ensure optimum driver and vehicle utilization.
Ensure all safety, health, and environmental regulations are adhered to.
Perform monthly workplace inspections and liaise with Safety, Health, and Environmental Representatives.
Compile operations budgets and ensure revenue and expenditure are within budget parameters.
Manage customer relationships and ensure ongoing exceptional service.
Ensure compliance with quality management policies and procedures.
Prepare daily and monthly reports as required.
Proactively respond to customer needs and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Basic computer knowledge
3-5 years of experience in a senior supervisory position
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Must be a Tanzanian citizen
Age not more than 45 years old
