Workplace: A One Products and Bottlers Limited, A MeTL Company Group.Job Title: Assistant GPS Technician.Qualification required: Diploma in Automobile electronics/electrical.Desired Experience: Good In-depth knowledge of automobile electrical wiring and electronicsJob Description:Installation of the GPS devices in vehicles.Conduct Checkup & Troubleshoot the problems for GPS devices not generating dataAssist the Tracking team in the root cause analysis of reported issues.Highlight any device tampering issues to Tracking supervisor, Unit head & Tracking team.Collect the configured tracking device with SIM Card and accessories from the Office.Get the job cards signed from Tracking supervisors & Unit heads and submit to field coordinator/customer care.Inform to the control room & IT team about the new installations and checkups details.Pass the installation information to the Tracking supervisor & Unit heads.Maintain the toolkits inventory.Maintain the inventory used for Installations and inform to customer careProvide accurate information on the list of accessories used for installation/checkup.Provide proper information to Unit heads & Tracking team regarding vehicle inspections and checkupsProvide training to the new and junior staff.GPS technician shall be flexible with work hours since most of the customer’s vehicles are available before or after office hours.
