Key Responsibilities
Branch Operations and Compliance Management: Provide oversight of daily branch operations, ensuring full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and established operational controls.
Customer Service Excellence and Client Relations: Deliver and maintain high standards of customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, supporting customer needs, and ensuring timely payment reminders to minimize default risks.
Loan Processing and Transaction Oversight: Support the end-to-end processing of loan applications and ensure accurate and timely management of all branch transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan disbursements.
Financial Reporting and Record Management: Prepare, maintain, and reconcile financial records and statements, while contributing to the preparation of performance reports and analysis of key branch metrics.
Team Collaboration and Operational Enhancement: Work collaboratively with branch staff to streamline workflows, strengthen operational efficiency, and promote continuous improvement in branch performance.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience as an accountant, with a strong understanding of financial processes.
Skills:
Proven experience in customer service, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
Advantage: Previous experience in a microfinance institution or bank is a significant advantage.
