Royal Mabati Factory Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality roofing solutions and steel construction materials. We are seeking to recruit a Business Development Officer to drive market growth, strengthen customer relationships, and expand our client base across key markets.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2-3 years' experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
Sales Knowledge: Strong knowledge of B2B and B2C sales processes.
System Experience: Experience with CRM systems, proposal writing, and tender preparation.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data and prepare reports.
Problem-Solving: Results-oriented, strategic thinker, and proactive problem-solver.
Advantageous: Demonstrated motorcycle riding proficiency will be considered an added advantage.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify new customers, markets, and business trends.
Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, and outreach.
Prepare and customize sales proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
Maintain client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Support sales conversion efforts including presentations, negotiations, and follow-ups.
Track competitor activities and provide insights for strategic decisions.
Ensure proper documentation of proposals, contracts, and client engagements.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
Prepare and submit timely business development reports.
Represent the company in exhibitions, events, and networking forums.
