BUSINESS SALES EXECUTIVE TRANSPORT (1 POST)
Job Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for soliciting for new transport business, looking for new business in transport and courier and customer care.
Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key result areas:
Sourcing of transport and courier business in line with the transport sales strategy;
Maximizing volume and revenue in cash sales and credit sales for increased profitability;
Maintaining good customer relations through regular customer visits;
Ensuring prompt debt collection within the agreed credit period;
Identifying t transport and courier business and planning for the implementation;
Maintaining close liaison with relevant departments and making monthly sales and collection reports to Sales and Operations Manager.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
3 years working experience.
Excellent communication skills and computer knowledge.
Experience in a transport or courier business is an added advantage
Driving motorcycle and a valid driving license is an added advantage
A pleasant personality, team player, and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
Technical skills
Report writing skills; and
Numeric skills.
