MOGAS Tanzania is now seeking to recruit suitably qualified and competent candidate, to fill the following vacant position. The duty station will be Dar es Salaam, the said position is expected to start as soon as possible.
Chief Accountant
Job Purpose
To assist the Finance Manager to manage the financial/accounting duties effectively and efficiently
Key Result Areas:
Managing finance and accounting operations, reviewing and re-engineering accounting and financial processes and updating financial policies/procedures as appropriate. Leading productivity/workflow improvement initiatives within the OpCo through effective operations management, including stock managing, Forex Management to avoid price risk, Forex Risk. Preparation & analyzing of Periodical financial reporting. Supervision of Cash flow Management/Taxation/Audit/Treasury function.
Relevant Experience:
At least three years’ experience in a comparable position in a reputable organization
Qualification and skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Financial management from a reputable institution
Must be a CPA holder
Computer skills-Microsoft Office, preferable working in ORACLE ERP environment
Personal COmpetencies
Supervisory skills
Team building skills
Problem solving skills
Basic counseling skills
Effective communication skills
