Chinese Translator (2 Posts)
We are looking for a Translator to interpret written and audio pieces from Chinese, English, and Swahili languages, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format, and tone.
Job Description:
Convert text from one language to another or more others.
Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone.
Proofread translated text for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs.
Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g., font and structure).
Education, Professional & Work Experience:
Proven work experience as a Translator, interpreter, or similar role.
Minimum 1 year working experience as a translator.
Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
Good knowledge of content editing tools.
Fluency in Chinese and English in addition to your native language.
Good communication skills.
Executive ability.
Basic in MS Office software.
