We're Hiring: Civil EngineerYour Next Challenge will be managing civil projects from planning to execution, ensuring control over time, budget, and quality. Oversee civil work orders and general plant maintenance. Coordinate and review outsourced civil works, including landscaping and sewage. Prepare and evaluate civil tenders, negotiate with contractors, and manage payments.Ensure compliance with SHE, quality, and technical standards as prescribed by government agencies, company policies, and group guidelines. Maintain adequate materials and equipment for the plant. Interpret drawings, guide artisans, inspect work quality, and keep laborers on task. Adhere to Heidelberg Materials Group Code of Business Conduct, Compliance Policies, and Guidelines.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in civil or structural maintenance
Problem-solving skills and knowledge of Tanzanian construction codes
Registration with an engineering professional body such as ERB
