Location: Olerai Lodge, Arusha

Reports To: Lodge Manager / Operations Manager
The Cleaning Manager at Olerai Lodge will oversee all housekeeping and cleaning operations, ensuring impeccable cleanliness across guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities. This role involves supervising a housekeeping team, managing inventory, coordinating with maintenance, and upholding health and safety standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and train housekeeping staff.
Develop cleaning schedules and routines.
Monitor cleaning supplies and linen inventory.
Conduct quality control inspections.
Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
Handle guest requests and complaints professionally.
Eligibility Requirements:
3+ years in a housekeeping supervisory/managerial role, preferably in hospitality.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Proficiency in English and Kiswahili; additional languages are a plus.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping, or related fields.
Experience in eco-lodges or remote settings is desirable.
