NIMR - Mbeya Medical Research Centre (MMRC) is one of the NIMR centres located in Mbeya within the Mbeya Zonal Referral Hospital compound. The centre is currently conducting research on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis as well as other diseases of public health importance.NIMR Mbeya Medical Research Centre is looking for qualified, experienced and motivated persons to fill the below vacant positions whose duty station will be in Mbeya City:
Clinical Officer – HIV Clinical Research (1Post) QUALIFICATIONS: · Holder of diploma in Clinical Medicine from reputable organization
· Have interest to pursue a career in clinical research in Tanzania, preferably documented by previous involvement in research projects of any kind. · Preferably have at least one-year work experience with focus on internal medicine/HIV
· Further formal training in HIV (e.g. counseling, treatment literacy, PMTCT, PITC) would be an asset.
Terms: One-year renewable Contract.Attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidates.
