Commercial Manager
Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer
Key Job Purpose
Take ownership of the business's sales performance, market promotions/events, manage and lead the commercial agenda to deliver sales volume and category targets. Work to ensure commercial target achievements and customer service delivery and Local accounts management within the country, with market intelligence report on competition movements & strategy. Effective optimization of all resources and cross functionalities yielding maximum results.
Key Responsibilities
Sales
Ensure Target Achievement of all goals and volume budgets set.
Analytical and insights led decision making.
Create New Opportunities and align with Chief Commercial Officer for support.
Customer
Plan, Organize, Co-ordinate, Control and Execute Core Responsibilities (Sales, Account Management & Coaching)
Track Customer Sales and take corrective action to understand customer needs, market and industry trends.
Maintain customers and market historical data.
Resources, Records & Presentations
Identify, Allocate, Track & Evaluate resources to maximize sales.
Review and analyse the data available and collected.
Provide feedback, make presentations and enable corrective actions.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or a related field.
Master's degree (preferred) in a relevant business discipline.
5+ years of experience in a similar commercial role.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent sales forecasting, brand strategy, and promotional planning skills.
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and operational costs.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and drive team performance.
Passionate about customer relationship management and market innovations.
