SIHOTECH ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED is HIRING!Join Our Dynamic Team and Be a Part of Our Success!SIHOTECH ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED is looking for a talented and experienced professional to fill the position of Control and Protection Engineer.Open Position: Control and Protection EngineerKey Responsibilities:Lead the design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of control and protection systems.Prepare protection philosophies, relay settings, and coordination studies.Supervise the installation and commissioning of substations, protection panels, and SCADA interfaces.Investigate system faults and analyze disturbance records to improve system reliability.Review and approve technical designs, relay settings, and commissioning reports.Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, utility standards, and project specifications.Provide technical leadership and coordinate with SCADA, telecommunications, and commissioning teams.Key Skills:Expertise in HV/MV substation control and protection systems.Proficiency in protection relays, relay coordination, and power system analysis software.Strong knowledge of IEC 61850, SCADA integration, and substation automation systems.Strong project management and technical supervision skills.Sound understanding of testing, commissioning, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university (Master's degree is an added advantage).Must be a Registered Professional Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) and hold a valid practicing license.Minimum 10 years of experience in control, protection, testing, and commissioning of electrical power systems.Eligibility:Tanzanian Nationals OnlyHow to Apply:Applications accompanied by professionally prepared CVs, copies of academic certificates, and Professional registration should be sent to:Email: recruitment@sihotech.co.tzApplication Deadline: 06/08/2026
