Corporate Associate - REVEURSE
REVEURSE is hiring a Corporate Associate to join our dynamic team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional to contribute to our corporate and commercial law practice.
Responsibilities
Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts, mortgages, separation agreements, and legal opinions.
Review, edit, and approve legal documents before submission.
Assign, monitor, review, and ensure the timely completion of corporate team tasks.
Attend client meetings on behalf of or alongside the partner on corporate matters.
Hold corporate team meetings, follow up on tasks, and update the partner on progress.
Maintain timely communication with clients and provide regular work updates.
Conduct team meetings to discuss workload, priorities, and legal developments.
Lead and mentor the corporate team, providing legal guidance and supporting professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B) from a recognized institution.
A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate and commercial law practice.
Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.
Experience in client advisory services on corporate legal matters.
Prior experience in supervising or leading a legal team.
Strong understanding of Tanzanian corporate laws, labor laws, commercial laws, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Strong knowledge of corporate governance, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
