JOB TITLE: Credit Relationship Officer/Loan Officer

The ideal candidate will have broad experience in the Financial Industry; with financial expertise, exceptional customer skills, regulatory knowledge, sales skill, and teamwork abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Review loan requests
Assess clients' financial status
Evaluate creditworthiness and risks
Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation
Analyze risks and approve or reject loan requests
Calculate financial ratios (e.g. credit scores and interest rates)
Set up payment plans
Maintain updated records of loan applications
Follow up with clients about loan renewals
Monitor progress of existing loans
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science degree in finance, economics or a related field Proven work experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer or similar role
1 year plus of loan/ credit experience in finance or related industry.
Hands-on experience with lending procedures and products
Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets
Customer service experience
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Competencies in Microsoft Office, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
