Overview
Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) is in the process of revamping its operations and has introduced new equipment to its fleet. The Company is, therefore, inviting application from qualified personnel to all the following positions in its Flight Operations Section.
CREW SCHEDULING OFFICER: 02 POSTS
Qualifications
The candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications:-
Diploma in any field from a recognized University or College
Appropriate knowledge of CAR
Two or more years working experience in a similar capacity within the Industry
Must be Computer literate
Be proficient in English Language
Possession of Flight Operations Officer License would be an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
Planning Responsibilities
Prepare monthly rosters for crew including training rosters taking into considerations the optimum utilization of crew as per the regulations laid down byTCAAand Company policy
Ensure a fair equitable distribution of work among Flight Crew and Cabin Crew in terms of type of trips, number of flying hours and duty hours
Ensure the day -to -day management and modification of the published rosters as per operational requirements
Provide solutions during flight disruption and ensure optimum utilization of crew
Monitor flight crew and cabin crew published rosters, ensuring strict adherence to TCA A regulations
Maintain detailed records of flight times, rest times, holidays, sickness, training, and deadlines and enters/supervises the entry of such details into appropriate systems
Ensure crew members are notified of any amendments to their published roster in a timely manner Prepare monthly payments reports Prepare annual leave plan
Crewing Responsibilities
Ensure the day- to- day management and modification of the published rosters as per operational requirements
Provide solutions during flight disruption and ensure optimum utilization of crew
Monitor flight crew and cabin crew published rosters, ensuring strict adherence to TCA A regulations
Ensure that all flights are crewed in accordance with TCA A and company rules and regulations while maintaining company requirements;
Prepare daily duty sheet considering crew complaints, TC AA regulation and requirement of language speaker for all flights operated by AirTanzania
Respond to absences, for reasons such as sickness, flight delays, etc, by rescheduling crew members at short notice. Call replacements, in coordination with the Operational Control Centre
Ensure members are notified of any amendments to their published roster in a timely manner.
SALARY:
Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the ATCLS salary scale.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Three (3) years contract (renewable)
