l&M Bank (T) Ltd, a subsidiary of l&M Group which has presence in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Mauritius invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following available positions.
JOB TITLE: CUSTODIAL SERVICES OFFICER
REPORTS TO: ASSISTANT MANAGER – CUSTODIAL SERVICES
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for the safekeeping of client securities, tailoring of investment options for the clients according to their needs, proxy Services on behalf of the bank, as well as trading on behalf of clients of shares, fixed income securities, and making sure that settlement of securities for customers is done.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in business management, economics, accounting, finance or any other related field from a recognized institution
Securities Industry Certification will be an added advantage
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
At least I year experience in a similar position
Knowledge of the local and international capital markets
Financial analysis skills
Knowledge of local and international regulations on capital markets
Ability to build and maintain the relationship with clients
Excellent communication skills
