Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MOHCDGEC) through Global Fund Grants is looking for enthusiastic, creative and energetic individuals whom will work under contractual agreement to fill the following vacant positions: 
NATIONAL TUBERCULOSIS AND LEPROSY PROGRAM
Job Title: Data Quality Officer – 1 Position
Location: Dodoma
Reporting to: Data Manager
Duties and responsibilities

Supervise TB and Leprosy data verification and cleaning as guided by data manager
Review accuracy of TB and leprosy related indicators in accordance to Ministry’s’ guidelines
Produce summary statistics of key outcome and covariate variables
Advise on the best tools, frequency and methods to use in collecting different TB and Leprosy data
Produce a descriptive report on TB and Leprosy related data
Supervise collection and verify data collected from various sources
Security and maintenance of TB and Leprosy databases
Any other duties as assigned by data manager

Experience and Qualifications

Degree in Biostatistics or related degree from recognized university
At least 2 years of experience in working with TB laboratory or related laboratory data
Knowledge and skills using DHIS2 System
Experience in processing health research/assessment and data analysis
Proficient in using analytical tools such as STATA, SPSS, and Microsoft Excel 
vi. Experience working with international or national partners including international or regional organizations and national institutions
vii. Proven ability to manipulate and present data by using standard tabulation and statistical software packages.  viii. Experience in data management 
ix. Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
Age limit: 50 years.

Terms of Employment: 3 years Contract (Renewable based on Performance and availability of funds).
