DEPUTY BRANCH MANAGER (MWANZA)INDUSTRY: INSURANCEHR World Limited on behalf of our reputable client, we are looking for a Deputy Branch Manager to assist the branch manager in all branch operations, providing leadership and direction of all staff in the branch and grow business through sound marketing strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Support the branch manager to develop the business strategy for the branch and set the implementation plan toachieve the branch objectives and goals.
Acquire new profitable business within the set budget and underwriting guidelines.
Manage the renewal circle in accordance with the underwritting guidelines and always ensure renewal retention of atleast 90% on existing business.
Ensure that claims and underwritting staff meet service standards in processing of claims and an insuance of underwritting documents.
Maintain continuous contact with brokers, agents and direct clients for new business acquisition and retaining of existing business.
Assist in preparation of branch budget and expenditure plans and manage the expenses of the branch in accordance with the agreed accounting guideline.
Maintain employee morale through communication of company and branch technical issues and listen to communicatw technical issues from the branch to the management.
QUALIFICATIONS;
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university; Insurance Qualification preffered
5-7 years’ experience, three of which should have been gained at a branch at the branch level in large and reputable organization.
Possess knowledge of company underwritting policies, systems and production related process.
Possess knowledge of competitor activity through participation in and cultivation of intra-industry contacts.
