KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Managing the efficient day to day operations of the depot business


Deliver depot finance targets as set by the business


Operational oversight of the depots and trucks, cost containment and optimal assets utilization


Customer focus and drive to consistently deliver the right levels of the services


Provide robust and visible safety leadership and alignment to eliminate potential hazard


Prepare weekly, monthly report to different stakeholders


Drive collaboration, alignment, and teamwork across the depot functions


Manage and collaborate effectively with stake holders and other internal/external parties


Ensure operational documents are updated in Masterfile (LOGSTAR/IFS/SOPs)


Meet clients target, evacuation target


Supervise all yard supervisors and transport manager and ensure reports are sent to clients daily


Ensuring IMS (HSSE Policies and standards) is implemented actively: SOP’s, process flows, and related documents are up to date and adhered to by all staff.


Ensure operational and technical staff is informed on operation on time


 
KEY REQUIREMENT:


5-8 years’ experience in shipping line & port operation


Bachelor’s degree from any background


Result oriented and aware of key business objectives


Building relationships and able to develop effective relationships with key staff, client, and customers


Operations awareness with ability to identify new business opportunities


Excellent communication skills suitable for the liaison with departmental staff and senior management


Planning and organizing


Understanding company operations and able to promotes company strategies, policies, and procedures


Teamwork and ability to contribute effectively towards the objectives of a team


Problem Solving and Decision Making


Willing to work in a highly complex and challenging environment


Innovation, Flexibility and Adaptability with the ability to undertake tasks with a positive attitude and respond well to management and staff requests


Must be prepared to meet business goals and respond well to change
