EXTERNAL AFFAIRS AND SUSTAINABILITY LEADINDUSTRY: FMCGHR WORLD Ltd on behalf of our reputable client, we're looking for an External Affairs and Sustainability Lead to manage and lead the company's Legal and Corporate Affairs team in Tanzania.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Managing and leading the Tanzania's three key functions Corporate affairs functions (sustainability, regulatory affairs, and communications) and Legal Function
Drive the agenda in protecting the business interest at a local level and ascertain adherence to business ethics as well as to existing policies
The function supports in follow-up of regional directorial level support on commercial operational support and development initiatives/events for multi-stakeholder forums
Strong focus on data acquisition for key projects around value chains and economic impact Co-ordinate governance across the trust ensuring best practice
Track and maintain a detailed awareness of the key regulatory issues facing the business and develop strategic responses as required
Strategy for Government and stakeholder relations, corporate reputation management, and corporate brand communications
Working together with the Legal Manager, coordinate any material court proceedings and litigation issues
QUALIFICATIONS;
Masters in International Relations, Finance/ Strategy, or any other related fields
Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
Ideally International understanding/experience, given the nature of the global business
Ability to interact with and influence senior stakeholders
