Factory Manager
INDUSTRY: MANUFACTURING
HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Factory Manager who will be specializing in a plastic molding company, responsible for the overall success of the plant's operations, encompassing production, quality, safety, and employee management to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
Ensure optimal utilization of human resources, machinery, and equipment.
Directly address and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues.
Review production and operating reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Assess and plan for future production capacity needs.
Establish and maintain production and quality control standards.
Ensure compliance with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Ensure all employees are adequately trained on safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of Engineering (e.g., chemical, mechanical, industrial), or a science-related discipline is highly desirable.
Several years (8+ years) of experience in a supervisory or management role within the plastic molding industry is preferred.
Experience in leading and managing teams, setting goals, and motivating employees is essential.
