FG Wilson Mechanics - 3 POSITIONS
Department: Generators / Parts & Service
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs of diesel generator sets.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and engine-related faults.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on generator sets.
Conduct generator installations, commissioning, testing and inspections.
Prepare service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Provide professional technical support to customers and assist the service team on site.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Diesel Mechanics, or a related technical field.
Practical experience in diesel engines and generator sets, including servicing and troubleshooting.
Good knowledge of diesel engine systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems and basic electrical controls.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and safety.
Young, energetic, motivated and willing to travel for field service assignments and customer support.
Location: Tanzania | Employment: Full-time
