Key Responsibilities:


Develop daily Chute distribution plan (10%): Daily distribution plan developed and shared with key Supervisor.
Supervise food scooping process to ensure a beneficiary gets right entitlement (50%): Beneficiaries get right entitlement (Refer to FBM reports).
Manage food allocated to his/her chute as standards (10%): Food handling principles adhered to.
Supervise Scoopers assigned to the chute (10%): Quality services rendered.
Compile food distribution report (5%): Quality reports compiled and submitted.
Supervise chute cleanliness (5%): Chute is clean always.
Participate into food prepositioning exercises (10%): Active participation is vivid.


Knowledge/Qualifications for the Role:

Required Professional Experience

One-year experience in working with humanitarian operations
Experience in handling commodities management
Experience in working with refugee programs


Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification

Training in commodities management, response trainings.


Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

Advanced diploma in Accountant, Procurement, Community Economy Development
Degree is an added value


Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
Refugee camps

Physical Requirements
Should be physically fit

Language Requirements
English and Swahili

Key Working Relationships:

WFP Field staff: Daily contact for effective communication regarding distribution process.
UNHCR Field Staff: Daily contact to resolve challenges associated with beneficiaries registration.
Plan International: Daily contact for child protection issues associated with food services.
Refugee community leaders: Regular contact for information dissemination to the communities.
EDP staff: Regular contact for food requests from the store and communication related to food delivery.
FBM: Regular contact for understanding discrepancies and timely resolution.
