Our client is a trusted security provider and adviser to Governments, security banks, high-security printers and industry providing secured identification, traceability and authentication solutions and services. They wish to recruit top performing individuals for the following positions:
 
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER – JOB REF: MN 7561
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AMONG OTHERS

Makes sure is informed of any transactions by managing information flows(Transactional routine authorizations)
Responsible for the information delivery in a timely manner by ensuring reliability, accuracy, and consistency, training the appropriate people
Maintain efficient processes and effective internal controls
Authorizes accounting transactions of non-routine items in nature as per group authorization matrix thoroughly analysing the situation.
Deals with specific high complexity issues by ensuring appropriate accounting treatment of various transactions (e.g. Statutory IFRS)
Responsible for all cooperate reports by doing/co-ordinating monthly financial reporting
Is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of internal controls by supervising documentation and ensuring appropriate use of standard methods and tools within the perimeter of activity.
Acts as a single point of contact for issues related to accounting activit­ies by ensuring appropriate information sharing in the perimeter of activity.
Prepares monthly cash-flow statements
Cooperates with group treasury department depending on request
Develops and maintains positive relationships with local bankers.
Ensures compliance with statutory reporting requirements
Ensures on time and quality delivery of statutory books by Calculating and submitting income tax and monthly VAT reports
Supports the business in designing effective organizations
Supervise, mentor and support team members to ensure their high performance
Coordinate regular team meetings & feedback sessions with the team

PERSON PROFILE

Education: BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field. MSc is an added advantage
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Certified and registered with the relevant Accounting body.
Knowledge of IFRS principles
Knowledge of Labour laws
Proficient in the use of MS Office and SAP
