FINANCE COORDINATORHR World Limited on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a Finance Coordinator who will be responsible for analyzing all financial data, monitoring all transactions, and preparing appropriate reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES;

Create plans and strategies for collecting debts.
Regularly check the company debtors list and contact customers for payment of their overdue invoices.
Maintain customer payment records including payment plans, amounts paid, and communications. Coordinate efforts to collect debts with business and FSSC hub.
Investigate delinquent accounts and institute legal actions for customers who fail to make payments on long overdue invoices.
Ensure all tax invoices raised in the system are passed through the EFD machine timely and are properly reconciled to Z-reports and revenue GL transactions.
Work seamlessly with a tax advisor in providing documentation for WHT and VAT filings.
Extract from the TRA portal all tax filings-related documents for all taxes (WHT, VAT, CIT, etc) and maintain these records for future reference.
Ensure compliance with all due dates for tax filings and tax payments.
Manage and improve internal tax audit capabilities to identify tax exposure and compliance risks before audits.
Assist with documentation requirements for internal and external audits, tax audits, and others.
Stay current with all regulations, requirements, and laws.
Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS;

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field or any other related fields.
Minimum of 4 years of work experience in credit control, tax operations, and finance operations.
Familiarity with debt collection processes and procedures, applicable laws, and controls.
Strong Tanzania tax knowledge and experience handling tax audits and compliance issues.
Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
