FINANCE MANAGERINDUSTRY: BANKINGHR WORLD LTD on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a Finance Manager Reporting who will be responsible for managing the financial health of an organization in order to promote success and growth while maintaining legal financial practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Work closely with the Head of Finance and the team to ensure that the bank resources are efficiently deployed and balance between profitability, growth, and risk is sound.
Assist and support the Head of Finance to guide the bank toward its vision and strategic objectives; ensure that the bank accomplishes its strategy and business plan.
Actively participate in the budget and planning process.
Ensures that performance reports are accurate, timely, and complied with and submitted to stakeholders within the timelines set.
Coordinate audits and inspections and ensure that financial results are accurate and published as required.
Analyze business performance and accurately report on a daily basis.
Monitor daily performance and ensure that all variations from the budget which are 10% or over are explained monthly and remedial actions suggested to management.
Ensure payments are processed accurately and promptly within a reasonable time as stipulated in the procurement and finance policies.
Ensure the effectiveness of internal control and integrity of general ledgers.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of BOT and TRA reports and returns.
Providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to finance and procurement department staff.
QUALIFICATIONS;
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business Administration or any other related field majoring in Accounting/Finance.
Membership in ACCA/CPA or its equivalent.
5+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting and/or audit.
Good communication skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
Banking industry knowledge and understanding of tax legislation.
Willingness to work long hours when required is critical.
