Main Purpose:
The primary function of this role is to support the Finance Manager, with the statutory accounting & reporting function, includingTreasury1. Manage petty cash2. Prepare payment requests to TRA & other statutory payments, payroll account funding, inter-account transfersReceivables1. Review import and export projects to ensure accuracy2. Preparation of sales invoices3. Preparation of intercompany cost recharges4. Review of Work in Progress account to ensure all projects invoiced on time & all completed projects have been applied and removed from WIP5. Preparation & distribution of weekly statements of accountsInventory1. Monthly stock reconciliations and reviewFixed Assets1. Manage Fixed Asset RegisterPayables & Accruals1. Preparation of purchase orders2. Manage vendor queries3. Review of auto accrual accounts to ensure all vendor invoices received on time & all completed projects have been applied and removed from WIP4. Liaise with shared services to ensure that all invoiced processed correctly and on time5. Assist finance manager with identifying & managing accrualsVAT & WHT1. Process sales invoices through the EFD machine2. Work with advisors to prepare monthly VAT returns & payments to TRA3. Prepare monthly WHT returns and payments to TRAMonthly reporting1. Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

University degree in Finance, post-graduate certificate is an added advantage
A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a multinational Organization – most preferably Freight Forwarding and warehousing
Broad understanding of financial reporting requirements.
Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Highly organized
