DCB Commercial Bank Plc is a private bank dedicated at uplifting the standard of living of low and middle-income people in Tanzania for more than 20 years. The Bank has a total of 9 branches; 8 branches in Dar es Salaam and 1 branch in Dodoma.
In line with the current strategy, we are looking to recruit a Finance Officer who is an energetic and self-motivated individual with outstanding integrity and a good record of achieving set objectives.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Officer will be responsible for posting journal entries, reconciliation and maintaining the fixed asset register.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing fixed assets and fixed asset register control.
Preparing month-end closure process including passing all entries such as depreciation charges of fixed assets.
Daily reconciliation of M – wallet account and review of all other digital reconciliation performed by other units and branches.
Supporting the GL Controller in monthly reconciliation of all the bank G. L accounts.
Preparing weekly and monthly in accordance to BOT regulations,
Preparing and postings of the month end entries like accrues other expenses payable, amortization of prepaid expenses, depreciation charges of field assets.
Preparing and posting of the payroll costs like staff costs SDL, staff WCF.
Reconciliation of suspense accounts such as accrues expenses payable, prepaid expense, stationary stock and others.  

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Statistics and related field.
Strong analytical and financial acumen.
Competent in Ms Office usage especially excel and PPT.
