Job Summary
Tindwa Medical and Health Service is a locally registered company providing Emergency Medical Services, Waste and Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety services both locally and internationally, and Medical Supplies Services. Currently, it is looking for a volunteering person who is self-motivated, committed, result-driven, and self-motivated to work with the company in the Finance department.
Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day finance department operations to the required quality output in a timely manner.
Implement company financial plans, strategies, policies, guidelines, and procedures precisely.
Perform all tasks related to receivables, including but not limited to:
Preparation of customer statements.
Updating receivable lists.
Customer reconciliations.
Preparing quotations and invoices.
Perform all tasks related to payables, including but not limited to:
Ensuring all purchase processes are complied with before any payment.
Preparation of payment vouchers.
Making payments.
Preparing supplier statements and payable lists.
Prepare and submit timely reports to management as required.
Act timely to support other department operations, ensuring smooth operations without interruptions.
Keep updated records, perform period reconciliation, and pay all taxes and statutory fees including but not limited to:
Corporate tax.
Withholding tax.
PAYEE.
SDL.
WCF.
Social Security Fund.
Import Duties.
Student Loan Board fees.
Perform all accounting roles including but not limited to:
Preparation of payrolls.
Monthly bank reconciliations.
Managing bank accounts.
Issuing receipts.
Required Qualifications
Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or any related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
Must be a Tanzanian.
Must be fluent in writing and speaking English.
Ability to use Microsoft Excel and other accounting software packages such as QuickBooks, Tally, or familiarity with Sage.
Applicants should have a high level of discipline, communicative and interpersonal skills, analytical and innovative problem-solving skills, and time-management skills.
