Finance Officer
HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Officer who will be responsible for managing financial operations, preparing accurate reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, records, and reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including monitoring expenditure against approved budgets.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all accounts are balanced and accurate.
Oversee payroll preparation and ensure statutory deductions are made and remitted on time.
Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
Monitor and control company cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and internal controls.
Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
Support management with financial analysis and insights for decision-making.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports for management review.
Liaise with banks, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders on financial matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5–6 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting within a financial institution.
CPA/ACCA certification or progress toward certification is an added advantage.
Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
