FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANTINDUSTRY – MANUFACTURINGHR World on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for Financial Accountant to ensure financial position in the company is reflected correctly and complies with country’s tax regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Managing the account payable function in compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
Comply with tax regulations in relation to vendor invoices accounting and processing.
Ensure compliance with Tax laws and regulations, like WHT, etc.
Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
Ensure accounts payable postings happen accurately and in time.
Ensure monthly review and reconciliation of GRNI and Clearing control accounts.
Ensure vendor accounts are reconciled and balance confirmations are obtained.
Ensure timely matching of related debits and credits in vendor accounts.
Any other work that may be assigned by the management
QUALIFICATIONS;
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
Must be a CPA holder
At least 3-6 years of working experience in similar role
MS Office packages
IT Software applications
Outstanding knowledge of electronic spreadsheets
High Integrity Levels
