Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd has an exciting opportunity in the Finance department. We are looking for a talented individual with the relevant skills, knowledge, and experience for the position of Financial Accountant to be based in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Controller.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Monthly accruals Journals: Capture, Posting, and Review
Managing cash flow
Managing insurance covers and claims
Conducting monthly stock taking and reconciliations
Posting monthly taxation Journals
Managing the monthly G/L file, ensuring review and approval
Managing monthly intercompany balances confirmations for HFM postings
Delivering the Working Capital objectives
Planning and managing the annual and 3-year budgeting process for the Balance sheet
Planning and managing the balance sheet commentary and reporting process
Providing insightful, timely financial reporting
Reviewing monthly G/L & stocks reconciliations File
Managing internal audits
Ensuring D365 system compliance
Monitoring Internal Audit Findings closeouts
Ensuring timely statutory filing and payments
Managing annual land rent and rates
Maintaining finance policies, SOPs, and work instructions
Preparing Audit committee packs
Managing G/L accounts postings as per the Chart of Accounts (COA)
Supporting External Auditors
Issuing financial year-end instructions to all financial constituents in the business
Managing FI Close at year-end
Reviewing year-end management reconciliation packs
Managing annual tax and posting relevant adjustment journal entries
Preparing the year-end group reporting pack

Skills, Experience & Education
The applicant should have:

At least a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance and CPA accreditation
Relevant experience in D365 system knowledge and at least 4 years of Audit/Accounting experience
Competence in Finance/Budget controlling
Advanced Computer Skills
Strong Problem-Solving & Analytical skills (conceptualizing)
Strong Planning, Organizing, and Controlling skills
Proficient Written Communication
Strong cognitive skills (judgment; analytical skills)
