General Manager
HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, we are looking for a General Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all logistics operations, including supply chain, transportation, and distribution, while ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness across the business.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the logistics department.
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Manage budgets, monitor costs, and drive profitability.
Lead, mentor, and supervise logistics teams to ensure operational excellence.
Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers, service providers, and other stakeholders.
Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
Drive process improvements and implement best practices in logistics operations.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining high service quality.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 8–10 years of proven experience in logistics management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain, transportation, and warehouse management.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Strong financial management and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office applications.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
