Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) is a national designated Public Postal operator established by Act of Parliament No. 19 of 1993 and became operational on 1st January 1994. The Corporation is wholly owned by the Government of Tanzania and is dedicated to improving people’s lives. Currently, the Corporation is inviting qualified team players to join the Corporation’s major transformation initiatives and all the following vacancies;
POSITION TITLE: GENERAL MANAGER – CORPORATE RESOURCES MANAGEMENT (1 POST)
Entry Qualifications
Masters degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or equivalent with CPA, ACCA withManagerial experience in large Organization.
Proven experience of not less than seven (7) years in which four (4) in senior position.
RESPONSIBLE TO: The Postmaster General
Personal attributes:
i. Strong leadership qualities and ability to think strategically.ii. Good communication skills and interpersonal relations.iii. Honesty and personal integrity.iv. Computer skills and exposure to modern financial information systems.v. Good in writing and submitting reports in timevi. To administer and supervise the activities of the divisions/sections under the departmentincluding human and financial resources to ensure that the responsibilities of theCorporate services division contribute effectively to the attainment of the Corporationsgoals.
Remuneration:The above post carries competitive remuneration as per Tanzania Posts Corporation salarystructure and incentive package.
Duty stationThe successful candidate will be stationed at the Head Office, Posta House Dar es Salaam.
