NYATI CEMENT / LAKE CEMENT LTD. is announcing an opportunity for qualified Tanzanian nationals to fill the position of GEOLOGIST.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Diploma in Exploration and Mining Geology/Geology.
4-6 years of experience in opencast mine geology.
Knowledge of geological survey software.
Ability to read and create maps.
Familiarity with government mining regulations.
Experience in mine planning.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure health, safety, and environmental procedures are followed.
Responsible for allocated job tasks.
Maintain documentation and provide weekly MIS reports.
Monitor land records, legal documents, and geological data.
Handle unplanned work.
Execute plans and procure as per SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
Inspect lands.
Focus on self-skill development.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Fluency in English for communication and correspondence.
Hands-on experience in applied geology and mine planning.
Proficiency in mine planning software.
Positive attitude and high integrity.
